    Description

    This is a half plate leather daguerreotype case for "Mr. Claudet 107 Regent Street".  The cover is also decorated with the Royal Court of Arms as would be expected to the "Photographer In Ordinary" to Queen Victoria. This was Antoine Claudet's address from 1851.  It has metal hinges and is in good condition.
