    Late 1840's Man with Tall Hair-1/6th Plate Daguerreotype-Full Case-Strong Spine. Case has just honest wear. No damage. Clasp is extremely strong, almost hard to move but does fit to completely close the case. Photo has never been removed from the case. I have no idea about the seals.
