    Korean 18th century Butterfly Chest.
    56 x 36 x 17 inches
    . This is a one of a kind, never before seen (by collectors), unique blanket chest "bandaji" and head side chest "morijang" combination. It stacks as two pieces. Has two hidden and two visible outside drawers, on the front of the cabinet, and three inside drawers in the lower cabinet. Constructed of pine wood, zelkova, and pear wood. Metalwork is pewter. Used for clothing and blankets. Part of the dowry to be given to the groom. An amazing piece of history.
